About Us

Who are we?

mygreenlifestyle is committed to publishing content that has eco credentials, is fair, ethical, natural, and organic. We work only with like minded companies who share our ethos. We encourage recycling, remaking, reusing, home grown, home made. We embrace traditional values and a commitment to responsible consumerism.

We have an affinity with wildlife, the world about us and the people who live here. We don’t consider ourselves to be ‘tree huggers’ but we are keen to support what we consider worthy causes, and we steer clear of politics.

mygreenlifestyle on-line magazine has a very low carbon footprint. We are a business where 95% of our communications are email. We do not print, and we make no apologies for re-cycling envelopes or other stationary. Our office is based at home and all our copy contributions come to us via email. Our equally passionate co-workers are freelance and mostly work from home.

Everyday our mailbag is full - the subject continues to grow, it’s fascinating and what’s more, we enjoy it.

History
mygreenlifestyle was launched on April Fool's Day 2009. We published a monthly on-line digital magazine on our website for 6 months, copies are all still live on our new website. Our readership very quickly reached an average of 25.000 per month, but we made the decision to discontinue the digitized magazine because readers without fast broadband were not inclined to wait for the pages to load. Our stats showed the website, and not the magazine, was getting the most hits by far.
In June 2010 we launched our new website where we feature even more content than we carrried in the magazine. Clicks on articles are instant and we keep readers on the pages much longer. Our readership continues to grow and with the help of our new Newsletter, we are sure to be bringing in a much wider audience.
