The aim of biodynamic farming and gardening is to revitalise
nature, grow nourishing food and advance the physical and spiritual
health of humanity. Each biodynamic farm or garden is conceived of
as an organism with its own individual qualities and diversity of
life. Reliance on home produced compost, manures and animal feeds is
a key objective and external inputs are kept to a minimum.
The Biodynamic Agricultural Association owns and administers the
Demeter Certified Trademark in the UK and is linked with a
world-wide network of independent certifying organisations under the
umbrella of Demeter International. Demeter Certification also offers
Organic Certification to producers, processors, abattoirs,
distributors and importers.

Held at Laverstoke Park – the biodynamic farm
owned by former Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter the ‘state
of art’ laboratory where they measure the microorganism level of the
soils. This information can be used to improve microbial activity
using various techniques including compost teas and the biodynamic
preparations to bring vitality and life back to the soil.
This conference is critical for enabling
participants to experience and assess aspects of the Biodynamic and
the Soil Food Web approach to soil management. Attendees’ soil can
be analysed and will be compared at the conference and there will be
presentations and workshops given by experts in the fields of soil
science and biodynamic growing.

across the world’s crop lands could solve the entire carbon
problem.’ - Joachim Bauck (1941 - 2009)

this by registering with Big Pink Heart.
Don’t keep it to yourself,
spread the word! Tell us how you will be celebrating and visit our
